This Week's WiredBIZ Award Winner: Kim Klaver Blogs
Kim has been selling things she loves since she was eight. The little Dutch girl with
broken English sold more Christmas cards door-to-door in her neighborhood than all her
friends. After a stint in academia, which ended with a degree from Harvard, she wrote
academic textbooks and articles, and slowly moved into sales - from real estate to direct
sales and network marketing.
As reported earlier, WiredBIZ has developed a section where individuals
can improve their chance at success by doing greater due diligence on products
companies, company principals and leaders in the industry. We have just added
another resource tool to that section for our members. Check out ZoomInfo and
bookmark it. It is not yet a "complete" catalogue of what everyone is about, but
it helps and we were impressed with quality to date. Look for this to become more
robust as it develops.
ZoomInfo, the premier summarization search engine, delivers fresh, comprehensive
information on over 31 million business professionals and 2 million companies
across virtually every industry. How do they do it? They have incredible
technology that this guy and this guy and this guy invented. ZoomInfo finds,
understands and extracts information from millions of online sources such as
websites, press releases, electronic news services and SEC filings and
summarizes the information into a comprehensive format. Basically,
ZoomInfo creates structure out of the chaos of the Web.
