Top WiredBIZ Story: WiredBIZ Launches Performance-Based Marketing
Some of us have been marketing on the Internet for a number of years and
when a company called Overture (later purchased by Yahoo!) exploded onto
the scene with the "Pay-Per-Click" model, we knew that marketing would never
be the same. Finally we could really track our return on our marketing invest-
ment. You do not have to look any further than Google's revenue growth over
the past few years to see how effective it is becoming. Google generates 90%
plus of its revenue in this area. Yahoo! is also in beta test mode (US only)
and MSN is also rumored to be ready to enter this area this fall.
In the past few weeks, we at WiredBIZ have been fine tuning our very own
pay-per-click solution and we are pleased to report it is working just fine and
now part of our marketing program for our members. As you might expect,
our visitors and members are 100% network market-focused which provides
a highly valuable audience to our advertising partners. Additionally, because
WiredBIZ is the only "publisher" (as opposed to Google and soon Yahoo!
and MSN) not only are our pay-per-click rates a lot more affordable, but there
is no risk of self=serving fraud. We will be keeping you up-to-date with all
of the developments, but we invite you to take a long look at how for just a
few cents you can drive quality traffic to your site. Just imagine if you could
be the first link among hundreds on an "mlm" search or the first site among
dozens in your category.
For a limited time, all pay-per-click advertisers will automatically be entitled
to have their link also rotate in our premier advertising locations throughout
WiredBIZ: next to the search box on every page, on the left-hand side as a
"Recommended Link" on every page and within our directory's categories.

What's New at WiredBIZ.com: How Big is THis Industry Anyway?
We have come to the conclusion that it is BIGGER than most people know.
This past week we re-organized our "Companies" section to get ready for the
influx of companies we continue to find on the 'Net. Our visitors can now
search for a company by Industry, Name, Region, Public and if they are no
longer in operation, i.e., closed or merged. We have now evolved to be the
largest resource especially in this area. Watch for this to grow!
