The Direct Selling Association is a national trade association founded in 1972 representing more than 40 direct selling companies that manufacture and distribute goods and services through independent contractors (also referred to as distributors, consultants, sales agents and other various names) directly to consumers in a face to face manner away from a fixed retail location.
