By Jeffrey A. Babener © October, 1993 One of the frequent criticisms of network marketing has been the saturation theory. Under this hypothesis, every networking opportunity will ultimately come to an end when networkers run out of customers to sell to or distributors to recruit. This theory just hasn't worked. After at least three decades of hard charging recruiting, even the oldest and largest networking companies still are finding plenty of distributors and customers.

By David Kaybor © 2004 In network marketing language, the Dave Klaybor definition states: raiding is the art, act and/or deliberate attempt to coerce, lure, steal or temp a NWM distributor - (a downline builder with as much of his/her sales organization as you can get), away from another independent Direct Sales/NWM company and bringing all those distributors over into your business operation.

By Jeffrey A. Babener © 2003 High Tech v. High Touch. There are at least two schools of thought in MLM recruiting. One approach is the “numbers” game. Networkers are told to get the message, by any means, in front of as many people as possible. The message is a quick one with little regard for the recipient. At the other end of the spectrum is the “relationship” approach. This approach requires a great investment of time and emotion and aims for warm and nurturing communication that will lead to a long-term relationship.
