LOS ANGELES, January 4, 2005 - Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) today announced a fundraising goal of $1 million to donate to tsunami disaster relief efforts. The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a non-profit organization created to assist children in need, has set up a special fund to accept donations, which will be donated to two international organizations that focus on the needs of children and are already well-established in the regions affected: Save the Children and SOS Children's Villages.

The two organizations are arranging the shipment of several fully loaded containers to India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
